UHBVN organises meeting at Panchkula

The Board of Directors, UHBVN today in its meeting held at Shakti Bhawan, Panchkula under the Chairmanship of Chairman, HPUs, P.K. Das has approved the Unaudited Financial Statement of UHBVN for the Financial Year (FY) 2022-23.

Giving information in this regard an official spokesperson informed the Key highlights of the financial statement 2022-23. He said that Nigam has reported net profit of Rs. 111.25 crores as compared to Rs. 77.77 crores during the previous year.

He said that the distribution losses have shown reduction of 3.64 percent i.e. 10.32 percent as compared to 13.96 percent in last year which is significantly positive for the Nigam. The Nigam has achieved 100 percent collection efficiency due to various initiatives taken by the management, he added.

He further stated that the power purchase units have increased to 25,803.26 MUs during FY 2022-23 from 23,708.97 MUs units during FY 2021-22. The sale of power in units has increased to 21, 654.66 MUs during FY 2022-23 as compared to 19,066.30 MUs during FY 2021-22.

Managing Director, UHBVN, Dr. Saket Kumar, and other Directors were present during the meeting.
