Sahiba, a Youth Red Cross Volunteer from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, has been honored with the Best Youth Coordination Award. A spokesperson of the university stated that the Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch, Chandigarh, organized a five-day state-level Youth Red Cross Adventure Camp in Manali from June 19 to 23, 2023. The camp saw participation from 88 female students from 10 universities and 7 colleges, along with Youth Red Cross counsellors.
The team from Kurukshetra University also took part in the camp, and Sahiba, a Youth Red Cross Volunteer from the university, was awarded the Best Youth Coordination Award. The Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva, Registrar Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, and Prof. Suchismita, the Program Coordinator of Youth Red Cross and Dean of Student Welfare, congratulated Sahiba and the entire Red Cross team from KU for their remarkable achievement.
