Minister lays foundation stone of canal-based water distribution project in Rewari district

Haryana Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal today laid foundation stone of canal-based water distribution project in village Nangal Mundi and Lala of Rewari district today.

While addressing the public on this occasion, Dr. Banwari Lal highlighted the substantial benefits of the canal water project, not only for Nangal Mundi and Lala villages but also for several neighboring villages. The canal water project is estimated to cost approximately 6.5 crore, with a budget allocation of 2.88 crore for Lala village and about 3.47 crore for Nangal Mundi village. This initiative aims to ensure the availability of clean drinking water at a rate of 70 liters per person per day, in line with the Har Ghar Nal Se Jal scheme implemented by the Haryana Government. The successful implementation of such schemes signifies the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens and the transformative reforms achieved in addressing the critical issue of drinking water.

The Public Health Engineering Minister emphasized that the welfare decisions made by the Haryana Government over the past eight years have gained nationwide recognition. Initiatives such as the elimination of Lal Dora, facilitating online access to government services, and empowering the common people through animal husbandry loans and self-help groups have been highly impactful. These inclusive schemes have proven to be immensely beneficial to the public. Furthermore, he highlighted that the opposition has no issue left to raise among the issues of food, clothing, housing and employment.
