Haryana: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches 1211 villages so far

With the aim of making India a developed nation, the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has covered 1211 villages/wards in Haryana, engaging over 620,000 people in the process.

The Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s efforts have successfully connected the yatra with Jan Bhagidari, generating significant enthusiasm among citizens. The Yatra not only provides benefits from various schemes but also addresses citizens’ concerns.

Started on November 30 in Haryana, the 12-days of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has seen widespread support for both central and state government policies and initiatives. On the 12th day, events were organised in 141 villages/wards, involving participation from over 78,000 people.

26,000 new applications received for the Ayushman Chirayu scheme.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has raised awareness about health services among citizens. So far, more than 26,000 new applications have been received for the Ayushman Chirayu scheme. Additionally, health check-ups have been conducted for over 150,000 people in camps organised by various departments. Tuberculosis screening has been performed for 97,000 individuals.

Under the Nirogi Haryana scheme has also conducted health examinations for over 90,000 people, aiming to ensure a health check for the entire population every two years.

Counseling for 32,000 people conducted in SEWA camps; most assisted in obtaining loans

The government, aligned with the principles of Antyodaya, is working on the upliftment of the last mile citizen. A separate SEWA department has been established for this purpose. Under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the department conducted counseling for 32,000 people in camps, providing information on various schemes and financial assistance for self-employment. Most individuals were facilitated in obtaining loans through banks.
