The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been initiated to reach the major schemes of the central and state governments to the people at the grassroots level, aiming to develop India by the year 2047.
This ensures that the benefits of the schemes reach the targeted beneficiaries promptly. In Haryana, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra-Jan Samvad is emerging as a strong medium to provide benefits at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, as per the official data, on the 18th day of the yatra, programs were held at 153 places and more than 1,20,000 people participated including 50,415 women. Also, to increase public participation and inspire good work for society at the local level, notable individuals who have performed significant work locally were honoured.
During the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, more than 22,580 people reached health camps and underwent health check-ups. Tuberculosis screening was conducted for 14,705 people.
On December 16, during the yatra, 376 people availed of the benefits of Ayushman Card, and 297 people visited the PM SVANidhi camp to gather information.
Under the Ayushman Chirayu scheme, 3,363 applications were received. 1,116 people were distributed Svamitva cards. 224 people visited the Aadhar card camp, and 125 people gathered information related to natural farming.
People who participated in the Yatra said that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, will prove to be entirely successful. They said that not only are they getting information about government schemes during the journey, but the benefits of the schemes are also being provided on the spot.
This has saved them from the hassle of visiting offices. People expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal for this doorstep service.
They stated that the Chief Minister has connected this yatra with the Jan Samvad, through which their complaints and issues are being heard, and solutions are being provided.
The state government is continuously making efforts to realize the dream of Antyodaya (upliftment of the last person) and this yatra will play a significant role in that direction.
People are benefiting from schemes at one place. This Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will prove to be effective in reaching the benefits of government schemes to the last person in every village and ward in the state. Information about schemes, making ration cards on the spot, PPP cards, health check-ups, and other scheme benefits are being provided on the spot.
