The Haryana Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF), New Delhi based on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Unity by Trade,” has become a focal point of attraction for visitors. Showcasing the state’s tradition, cultural heritage and achievements alongside modern technology, the pavilion reflects Haryana’s progress in various sectors over the past nine years.

Organised by the Trade Fair Authority of Haryana (TFAH), the Haryana pavilion highlights the state’s journey on the path of progress, blending tradition with modernity. During past nine years, Haryana has witnessed progress in digital and industrial sectors, prominently displayed in the pavilion. The pavilion features 51 stalls, showcasing the state’s diverse accomplishments, from trade and commerce to achievements in sports and the essence of ‘karma’ as depicted in the Bhagavad Gita.

The design of the pavilion incorporates elements of Haryana’s rich culture and tradition, offering a glimpse into the state’s achievements and how it is advancing on the path of progress. The pavilion also emphasizes Haryana’s achievements in sports, presenting excellence in various sporting events. From ancient culture to sporting triumphs, the pavilion serves as a center of attraction. It not only showcases artifacts from the historical Rakhi Garhi (Hisar), revealing remnants of the Indus Valley Civilization, but also provides live demonstrations of traditional crafts and pottery.

Moreover, the pavilion highlights Haryana’s industrial leap over the past nine years, positioning itself as a major industrial hub in North India, particularly in the automobile sector. It has embraced information technology, making Gurugram the country’s second ‘Silicon Valley’ after Bengaluru.

The state government’s focus on e-governance has led to the development of Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family Identity Card), a unique model in the country, thereby setting an example for various states to follow.

The pavilion features 51 stalls covering a wide range of sectors, including business and industry, food processing, textiles, engineering and electronics, leather, beauty products, personal care products, art and culture, traditional folk art, eco-friendly painting made from plastic waste, and many more. Overall, the Haryana Pavilion serves as a dynamic representation of the state’s journey, combining tradition and modernity, and showcasing its achievements in various fields at the IITF.
