Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij today said that on the occasion of Pran Pratistha (ritual consecration) and inauguration of the newly constructed temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya, a grand “Shri Ram Yatra” will be organized in Ambala Cantonment on 14th January.
Vij chaired a meeting at the PWD Rest House in Ambala Cantonment regarding the preparations for the ‘Sri Ram Yatra.’
Home Minister Anil Vij mentioned that following the inauguration and consecration ceremony of the Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, an AC special train named ‘Ayodhya Yatra’ will be run from Ambala Cantonment to Ayodhya.
Thousands of devotees will depart on this train to visit the Sri Ram temple. Discussions with railway authorities are underway and the date for its will be finalized soon.
The train will offer pantry and other facilities. He mentioned that in large numbers, devotees will depart from Ambala Cantonment to Ayodhya for darshan of Lord Ram.
Furthermore, he stated that on January 14, the ‘Sri Ram Yatra’ will commence at 11 AM from Subhash Park in Ambala. The yatra will conclude back at Subhash Park, traversing through Sadar Bazaar and other areas of Ambala Cantonment. Invitations will be extended to all sections of society to participate in the yatra. Responsibilities regarding the organization of the Sri Ram Yatra were delegated during the meeting.
On this occasion Jasbir Jassi, Lalit Chaudhary, Om Sahgal, Rajeev Gupta Dimple, Kiranpal Chauhan, Kirpal Singh Arora, Ajay Baveja, Lalita Prasad, Madan Lal Sharma, Babu Soni, Rambabu Yadav, Anil Kaushal, Balwinder Singh Shahpur, Sudarshan Singh Sahgal, BS Bindra, Shyam Sundar Arora, Neelam Sharma, Rajeev Jain, and Dabbu Bindra, among other officials were present.
