Haryana Ideathon 2023 commences; registration open till Dec 1

The Haryana Skill Development Mission has launched Ideathon Haryana 2023 to promote entrepreneurship and startup ideas among students of ITIs, HSDMs Training Centres, polytechnic colleges, and other educational institutions and the general public. Interested participants can register until December 1; the last date for submitting ideas is December 15, 2023.

The announcement of awards will be made for the 21 winners from Haryana, receiving prize money totalling more than Rs. 4 lakh.

Candidates who have valid Parivar Pehchan Patra can participate in this competition. It is a special online tech event where participants can showcase their creativity and skills to find innovative solutions, face global challenges, and develop prototypes or solutions for real-world problems.

Divulging more details in this regard Dr. Vivek Agrawal, MD, HSDM said that this program, running continuously for a month, encourages the youth of Haryana to come together. Participants can contribute their thoughts to enhance their creativity and skills to find new solutions.

He highlighted that competitors can participate in 12 categories, including agriculture, efficient and clean energy, robotics and space, quality education, emerging technology, healthcare, cleantech, mobility, manufacturing and stability, clean water and sanitation, consumer and enterprise technology, and good health and well-being.

Participants can register for the program individually or as a team and must submit their ideas with a pitch deck of more than 5 slides and a 2-minute video pitch.
