Haryana hikes insurance coverage of media personnel to Rs 10 lakh

While presenting the budget, the Haryana Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced an increase in the pension of media workers has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 per month. Presently 193 media persons are availing the benefit of monthly pension.

Financial assistance up to Rs 2.50 lakh is being provided to media personnel and their family members in case of medical emergency or unfortunate death of media personnel.
