These programs address the challenges women face in accessing education and promote gender equality.

Furthermore, the state government has empowered women in Panchayats by granting them 50% representation. Along with this, numerous welfare schemes have been launched to support women’s advancement and financial independence.

Women have also been granted 33% representation in ration depots. The Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana has also witnessed success, with over 7.38 lakh accounts opened in various post offices.

The state government’s efforts have effectively changed the perception of daughters, moving away from the traditional view of them as a burden. Today, daughters are excelling in every field, surpassing their male counterparts and bringing pride to the state on the international stage in education and sports.
