Haryana Govt approves 14 new projects under Augmentation Rural Water Supply-State Plan worth Rs. 32.69 crores

In an effort to bring a transforming change in the lives of the state’s rural population, the Haryana Government has decided to implement 14 new projects worth more than Rs. 32.69 crore under the Augmentation Rural Water Supply-State Plan in 2 districts namely Fatehabad and Hisar.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department here today.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works under the Augmentation Rural Water Supply-State Plan include the Laying of balance sewer lines in the MC area of Narnaund Town of District Hisar with an estimated cost of Rs. 4.23 crore, Construction of Canal Based Water Works Baliyala for Group of 2 no. Village Baliyala and Bora Tehsil Ratia, District Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.23 crore, Providing and laying of DI Water Supply pipeline in various Streets of village Karandi Tehsil Tohana Distt. Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 23.32 lakh, Construction of Independent Canal Based Water Works at Village Madh, Block Nagpur Tehsil Ratia District Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 3.93 crore, Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme at Village Nangal, Tehsil Ratia District Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.04 crore, Providing and Laying of DI Water Supply pipeline in various streets of village Dulat Tehsil Tohana Distt. Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 24.35 lakh, Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme at village Rattakhera Tehsil Ratia Distt Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.54 crore.

The remaining projects are the Replacement of the Existing Distribution system and Repair of Water Works structures at village Alawalwas, Ratia, Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.77 crore, Providing Independent Canal Based Water Works At Village Birabadi, Tehsil Ratia District Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 3.17 crore, Estimate for construction of a sump well, providing and laying of rising main for assured raw water at water supply scheme at village Buwan Tehsil Tohana Distt. Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.86 crore, Construction of an Additional Boosting Station, Rising Main For Dadupur Dhani, and Repair of Existing Structure of Water Works At Village Dadupur, Tehsil Ratia District Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.83 crore, Updating Water supply Scheme at Village Dariyapur Tehsil, Distt.

Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.11 crore, updating the Water Supply Scheme in Village Gadli Tehsil, Distt. Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.34 crore, Augmentation of water supply scheme and construction of Boosting station, repair of water works structures, Distribution system at village Jandli Khurd, Tehsil, Dist. Fatehabad with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.11 crore.
