Haryana Education Minister commends government’s effort in enhancing school infrastructure

Chandigarh, February 13

Haryana School Education Minister Kanwar Pal, stated that the state government will ensure to fulfill the dual desks requirement in schools of Haryana by the end of this year.

Kanwar Pal said this while chairing a meeting with senior officers of the School Education Department at Haryana Niwas here today. During the meeting, he addressed critical points concerning the development and enhancement of educational infrastructure in the state.

Minister, Kanwar Pal said that the 6 essential amenities such as drinking water, toilets, dual desks, boundary walls, paved approaching roads to school and other teaching resources should be evaluated on regular intervals.

He emphasized that the government will spare no effort in addressing any deficiencies in school facilities across the state. He made it clear that ensuring adequate infrastructure in every school premises throughout Haryana is our top priority. He directed the officers that all pending civil works should be expedited.

Minister Kanwar Pal further directed to fill academic and non-academic vacancies in anticipation of the forthcoming academic session.Furthermore, Minister Kanwar Pal discussed the allocation of stations to JBT teachers and the internal adjustment of teachers against vacancies, along with double shifts in schools.

Kanwar Pal also met several unions such as Computer Lab Attendant Karamchari Sangh and the Samayojit Adhyapak Sangh etc., who put forward their concerns and demands.

He assured them of the government’s commitment to addressing their legitimate demands and concerns. He reaffirmed the government’s stance on fostering a conducive environment for all stakeholders within the education sector.
