Haryana CS directs seamless update of rent information in E-Awas module

The Haryana Chief Secretary has directed all Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure the seamless update of rent information in the E-Awas module for the Government accommodations allocated to the employees under the General Pool houses of the Chandigarh Administration.

The letter addressed to HODs further states that the Chandigarh Administration has observed crucial details are currently missing.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) authorities urgently require the DDO (Drawing and Disbursing Officer) code, complete details, and addresses of the authorities responsible for remitting monthly license fees on behalf of the occupants of Government accommodations.

The monthly recovery schedules received by Chandigarh Administration lack these essential details, hampering the efficient processing of updates within the E-Awas system.

Therefore all departments, boards, and corporations of the Haryana Government are urged to provide the necessary information promptly, reads the letter.
