Haryana CS designates link officers for Rural Development Dept to ensure uninterrupted operations

Chandigarh, November 29
In order to ensure the smooth functioning of the Rural Development Department, the Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kaushal, has issued orders designating the Head of Department (HOD) of Development & Panchayats as Link Officer 1, the HOD of the Environment Department as Link Officer 2, and the HOD of the Urban Local Bodies Department as Link Officer 3 for the HOD of the Rural Development Department.
The order stipulates that the Link Officers will perform the duties of the HOD of the Rural Development Department during his leave, training, tour, election duty, or absence for more than two days due to any other reason, or in the event of a vacancy arising from the retirement or transfer of the HOD.
