Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr Banwari Lal starts 48th crushing season at Karnal Sugar Mill

Haryana Cooperation and Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, started the 48th crushing season at Karnal Sugar Mill, stating that the government will procure each sugarcane from farmers and ensure timely payments.

Dr. Banwari Lal said that in the past 9 years, Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has worked for every section of the society in the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He said that the Haryana government, under the leadership of CM, Sh. Manohar Lal, has increased the price of sugarcane by Rs. 14 per quintal to Rs. 386 per quintal, which is the highest in the entire country. Apart from this, it has already been announced to increase the price of sugarcane to Rs. 400 per quintal for next year’s crushing season.
