Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal today reviewed the arrangements for the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which will begin in Haryana in the third week of November, 2023. The Yatra aims to raise awareness about Union and State government schemes and ensure that they reach the last mile.
Kaushal said that the objectives of the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra include reaching out to vulnerable people who are eligible for various schemes but have not yet availed of the benefits. Disseminating information and generating awareness about specific government schemes, such as Jandhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PM Kisan Saman, Svamitva, PM Poshan Abhiyan, PM Gareib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Secheme and Nano Fertilizers Scheme etc. Interaction with beneficiaries of government schemes through personal stories and experience sharing and to enroll potential beneficiaries by collecting their names, contact information, and other relevant details.
Kaushal suggested that stalls for Parivar Pehchan Patra, Chirayu Ayushman Bharat Scheme, and Aadhaar Camps be set up during the event. He also directed Additional Deputy Commissioners to make arrangements for health camps, quizzes, discussions, exchange of views, and cultural programmes.
Director General, Information Public Relations Languages and Culture Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal said that awareness programmes will also be taken up among school and college students. Self-help group members will also actively participate and showcase their products in the event. In addition, youth from various health clubs should be actively encouraged to participate in this event. District-level management committees will be headed by Additional Deputy Commissioners at the district level to implement the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program. The Information Public Relation Languages and Culture Department will be the nodal department for the implementation of the Bharat Sankalp Yatra program in the state. Vehicle resources will be available for the program in rural and urban areas of the state. Various insurance schemes, including Jandhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and central flagship schemes and services, are included in this Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Publicity campaigns will be organized at Gram Panchayat, Village Committee, Urban Area, Block, Sub-Division, District, and State level to make this program successful. The Yatra will be organized through a series of outreach activities, including public meetings, workshops, and exhibitions. The goal is to ensure that all eligible people are aware of the benefits available to them and can access them easily, Dr. Amit added.
Among those present in the meeting include Additional Chief Secretary, (ACS), Development and Panchayats, Anil Malik, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, V. Umashankar, Principal Secretary, Youth Empowerment, Vijayendra Kumar and Additional Deputy Commissioners of various districts.
