Chandigarh railway station should be named Chandigarh-Panchkula: Gian Chand Gupta

Chandigarh, August 7

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta said in his address that both Panchkula and Chandigarh are major cities of Tricity. On this occasion, he urged the Union Railway Minister that name of Chandigarh railway station should be Chandigarh-Panchkula Railway Station.

He also requested the Governor of Punjab and the Administrator of Chandigarh, Banwarilal Purohit and the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal, to take up the matter with the Central Government at their respective levels.
