Haryana’s Home Minister Anil Vij, on the occasion of International Women’s Day today, urged women to “resolve to work for society by forming small groups.”

He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a significant gift by providing an Rs 100 discount on cylinders to women this morning.Vij was responding to questions asked by the media persons today.

“We must be ready to participate in solving problems,” – Vij

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes to see more women participate in politics, and for this purpose, a women’s reservation bill has been passed. He emphasised that women need to prepare themselves for this opportunity. Women should come forward in every neighbourhood, form small groups, and be ready to participate in solving issues like cleanliness, etc.

Prime Minister removed the pressure of suppressed sentiments of the majority society – Vij

Vij stated, “Since Shri Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, the suppressed sentiments of the majority society, which were held back for various reasons, have been relieved by him. We are planning to establish women’s help desks in all police stations – Vij

The Home Minister mentioned that Dial-112 is working successfully in Haryana, and the response time is approximately 8 minutes, making every person in Haryana feel that the police are with them. In case of an incident or accident, the police reach the location in about 8 minutes.

He said that many successful stories of Dial-112 and says plans to establish women’s help desks in all police stations, following the establishment of women’s police stations earlier. In this way, we are working in every sector, he added.
