With the appointment of 116 clerks, the functioning of the Technical Education Department will be expedited, said Technical Education Minister, Punjab Harjot Singh Bais is here today.
He said that appointment letters would be handed over to these newly appointed clerks by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Bains said that there was a scarcity of clerks in the department which would be overcome with this recruitment.
Bains said that the Technical Education Department is an important department of Punjab, which makes the youth eligible for government jobs as well as self-employed.
He said that his government is persistently taking various initiatives toward strengthening this department.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had already given more than 28,000 permanent government jobs to the youth of Punjab during its first one-year tenure.
