Former Aam Aadmi Party MP from Patiala Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi has joined Congress today.
Dharamvir Gandhi had distanced himself from AAP since 2016. Dr. Gandhi is the only leader who defeated Praneet Kaur, daughter-in-law of the Patiala royal family in his political career. After Dr. Gandhi joined the Congress, the party would have a strong base in Patiala even without the royal family.
