AAP Punjab President Aman Arora extended a heartfelt welcome to the sarpanch brothers who joined the Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of Talbir Singh Gill. With deep gratitude and warmth, he embraced them into what he called not just a political movement, but a true family. “This is your home,” he said, assuring them that in AAP, every grassroots leader is respected, valued, and empowered. He urged them to walk hand-in-hand with Talbir Gill, Himself and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to take forward the mission of honest politics and people-centric governance. “This is your party, your platform, come lead with integrity, and the party will stand with you every step of the way,” Arora affirmed, closing with a powerful note of solidarity and unity.
Aman Arora began his rally address by expressing heartfelt gratitude to the people of Majitha for the overwhelming response and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to clean governance and transparent development under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Arora praised the tremendous transformation in Punjab’s healthcare, education, and agriculture sectors, citing significant achievements like uninterrupted electricity, canal water reaching even tail-end fields, record government job appointments without bribery or recommendations, and the government’s resolve in tackling long-ignored issues like SYL water distribution.
Arora strongly criticized previous governments for neglecting the sacred and strategically important Majha region, calling out their political misuse and the drug menace that once plagued the area. He highlighted the symbolic and historical relevance of the land, stating it deserved dignity, not disgrace. Emphasizing that real leadership comes from those who fight for people, not for personal gain, he introduced Talbir Singh Gill as AAP’s official face and constituency representative for Majitha, entrusted with both party and government responsibilities. He urged people to support Dalvir Gill as a “true general of the people” who will lead not through fear or favouritism, but by earning the trust of the masses.
Concluding his address, Arora made an emotional appeal for unity and strength in Majha to match and surpass the previous support received from Malwa in 2022. He expressed hope that this sacred land of Guru Sahib and Baba Budha Ji would take its rightful place in Punjab’s political and developmental leadership, and assured the people that when intention and policy are pure, success is inevitable.
Talbir Singh Gill thanked AAP Punjab President Aman Arora for his constant support and added, “These sarpanchs have joined AAP inspired by the work of Bhagwant Mann’s government in Punjab, be it in schools, healthcare, or anti-corruption initiatives. This support from Majitha will further strengthen our fight to bring development and justice to this region.”
This joining included multiple former sarpanchs, panchayat members and influential local leaders, signaling a clear shift of public sentiment towards AAP’s governance model.
