District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal, using the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 today banned the use of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles within the limits of District Kapurthala from November 4 to November 6.
In the orders Distrct Magistrate said that these orders have been issued in view of the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Dera Beas on November 5.
He also clarified that this order will not apply to drones and unmanned aerial vehicles used by the Police, Indian Army, CAPF, RPF to ensure security.
Apart from this, SSP Kapurthala will ensure the implementation of these orders in true spirit and manner .
