Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Jaspreet Singh has dismissed five nambardars of district for unauthorized absence from their respective villages and moving abroad.
In order issued on Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner has dismissed nambardars of Gorsianpeera, Arjanwal, Sagrawali, Raipur and Salempur Musalmana villages for their gross misconduct. In his orders Deputy Commissioner said that it has came into his notice that some nambardars either move abroad or remain absent from their Revenue Estate. He said that even some had got PR in abroad which is the gross violation of the Revenue rules.
