Haryana Former Home Minister Anil Vij mocked the recently released Congress list, saying that Congress has chosen candidates against whom cases are ongoing, which reflects their mindset.

Responding to media persons questions about Congress releasing its first list, Anil Vij commented sarcastically, stating that Congress has given tickets even to people facing legal cases.

He added that Congress seems to prefer candidates who are likely to go to jail, highlighting that Surendra Pawar, who is in jail, has been given a ticket. This, according to Vij, reveals Congress’s thought process.

He further mentioned that recently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached properties belonging to Hooda, yet he has also been given a ticket, further showcasing Congress’s mentality. He implied that other similar questionable candidates might emerge from the rest of the list.

Commenting on the alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which seems to be coming to a halt, Vij said that there is still some uncertainty.

He said that Rahul Gandhi had asked AAP to provide candidates as Congress is running short. Regarding AAP’s decision to contest 50 seats, Vij remarked that it’s a democracy, and anyone can run in elections.
