On the first of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha session which commenced here today, obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to those prominent personalities who have expired between the period from the end of the previous session and the beginning of this session.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who is also the Leader of the House paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions.
These include Jaswant Singh, former Minister of Haryana, Bhagi Ram, former Minister of State, Hari Singh Saini, former Minister of State, Randhir Singh, Naresh Yadav Subhash Chaudhary, and Rakesh Daultabad, former Members of Haryana Legislative Assembly.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan also read the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls.
The House conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families. Bhupinder Singh Hooda also read the obituary resolutions on behalf of his party.
The House expressed sorrow on the sad demise of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Naval Tata and Hari Singh, Freedom Fighter.
This House also expressed its deep sense of sorrow on the sad and untimely demise of 6 innocent school children who lost their lives in a tragic accident, on April 11, 2024 at village Unhani in Kanina, District Mahendragarh.
The House gave a tearful farewell to 46 brave Martyrs of Haryana who showed indomitable courage and made the supreme sacrifice while safeguarding the unity and integrity of the motherland.
