Architect Sanjay Goel from Designex Architects and former Director of Ludhiana Smart City Limited has returned to the city after participating as a jury member at the 34th JK Architect of the Year Awards (AYA).
Expressing his gratitude, Ar Goel said, “I sincerely thank the team at JK Cement for giving me the opportunity to serve as one of the jury members representing North India, alongside some of the leading architects from India and abroad.”
He further shared his experience, stating, “It was an intensive yet enriching two-day session at Taj Lakefront, Bhopal, where we carefully evaluated over 300 shortlisted design entries submitted by both Indian and international architects. The quality of work was truly inspiring.”
Ar Goel emphasised the importance of participation from architects in Punjab at national and international platforms. “I strongly encourage architects from Punjab to actively participate in prestigious national and international events as per their eligibility. This will not only elevate their professional standing but also strengthen Punjab’s architectural representation at a national level,” he remarked.
