For a secure future, youth should make Electric Vehicles a part of their life. This was stated by Sukhwinder Singh, Project Director, Chandigarh Renewal Energy for Science and Technology Promotion Society (CREST).
Sukhwinder Singh was addressing the representatives of EV manufacturing companies and the city residents who were present to participate in the valedictory program of the day expo on Renewal Energy and Electric Vehicle Expo organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with CREST on Sunday.
Chandigarh Administration is offering subsidies to the buyers of Electric Vehicles in the city. Youths should play an important role in taking forward this campaign to new levels.
During this PHDCCI Chandigarh Chapter chair Madhu Sudan Vij said, this expo has not only recorded huge footfall from city residents but also witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Desh Bhagat University etc.
He said that the main objective of this expo was to provide electric vehicles to the city residents under one roof and to make them aware of the upcoming changes in the field of vehicles in view of the future needs.
During the program, Bharti Sood Regional Director of PHDCCI, and Karan Gilhotra Co-Chair of Punjab Chapter PHDCCI honored the representatives of leading companies like IDFC First Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Hyundai etc. for their enthusiastic participation in the EV Expo.
