Sahasransh wins silver medal in team eventing category at the Junior National Equestrian Championship 2025

Chandigarh, January 7: Sahasransh Singh has brought laurels to his home state with an outstanding performance at the Junior National Equestrian Championship 2025. A talented young equestrian from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, participated in the prestigious championship that was held at the Army Polo and Riding Centre (APRC), Delhi, from 24 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, and witnessed participation from the country’s best emerging riders.

Sahasransh won a silver medal in the team eventing category, contributing significantly to his team’s success and making Himachal Pradesh proud on the national stage. Eventing, regarded as one of the most demanding equestrian disciplines, tests both rider and horse across three phases—dressage, show jumping, and cross-country, requiring precision, endurance, and exceptional partnership.

on in dressage at the nationals. His consistent achievements and dedication to the sport earned him the prestigious Sawai Jaipur Award in 2024, recognising his contributions to equestrian sports.

Beyond competitive riding, Sahasransh is also serving the nation by representing the I Delhi R&V Squadron (NCC) in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) Parade 2026, reflecting his discipline, leadership, and all-around excellence.
