Renaming ceremony of Chandigarh Airport to be held on Sept 28, to be presided by Nirmala Sitharaman

Chandigarh, September 27

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will preside the Chandigarh International Airport’s renaming ceremony that will be held on September 28.

Two days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi named Chandigarh International Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

Other than Union Finance Minister, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Union Minister of State for Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation General Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher, Anandpur Sahib MP Manish Tewari will also be present on the occasion.
