Polling begins for election of PU students council

Chandigarh, September 5

The polling for the election of Panjab University students council has started in various departments.

This time, there are 15, 854 eligible voters in the university and for the polling, the administration has set-up 182 polling booths having 306 ballot boxes.

After the voting, ballot boxes will be shifted to the Gymnasium Hall for the counting.

This year, for the post of President, eight candidates including three women are contesting.
