PCS (Retd.) Officers Association holds protest at Sector 17 Plaza

Chandigarh, August 20

A protest was held by the members of the Punjab Civil Service (EB) Retd. Officers Association at Sector 17, Chandigarh today. The Association strongly condemned the barbaric and inhuman act of rape and murder committed against a medical student of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata.

The members of the Association under the Chairman GS Bahia pledged that the Association stands in solidarity with the family of the victim. They urged the Government of India and the Government of West Bengal to take immediate and strong measures and bring the culprit to the books and ensure early justice in this matter. The Association demanded for the security of the doctors during their duty hours.
