Good start to People’s Walk Against Drugs led by Khushwant Singh – Day 1

The People’s Walk Against Drugs commenced from New Chandigarh, and the first phase concluded at Civil Hospital, Kurali. There was no elaborate flag-off ceremony; instead, a simple Ardaas was performed, accompanied by homemade Prasad, offered to all participants supporting this anti-drug mission.

Lead and initiated by prominnet book author and horticulturist Khushwant Singh,Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including actors, artists, dancers, doctors, marathon runners, army veterans, and friends and family, turned out in significant numbers to back the 90 km walk, scheduled to culminate at Khatkar Kalan in Nawanshahr district on December 15th.
