EV Policy revised in Chandigarh; read details

Chandigarh, October 18

The UT Administration has revised the “Electric Vehicle Policy, 2022” thereby increasing the quota of registration of Internal Combustion Engines in the 2-wheeler category and cars (personal).
The decision of the Administration is likely to benefit those consumers who wish to purchase Internal Combustion Engines 2-wheeler/4-wheeler (personal car) from the local dealers. The amended Electric Vehicle Policy will come into force with immediate effect. The revised targets under the Electric Vehicle Policy are as follows:-
