Congress will grant ownership rights to all rehabilitation house allottees of Chandigarh –Pawan Bansal

Former Chandigarh MP and senior Congress leader Pawan Bansal made a big announcement for the people of Chandigarh just before the elections.

He said that Congress would grant the ownership rights of the houses given under all the rehabilitation schemes in the city. This will include tenements, sites and houses which are under GPA too and a special scheme will be made for this.

Addressing a public meeting at Ramdarbar, Pawan Bansal said that the time has come when these people should get their rights. BJP has been harassing these families for the last 10 years. In the name of keeping the promise, only a survey was conducted, whereas in the last 10 years neither any new house has been allotted, nor any ownership right has been given.

It was the Congress party that gave houses to the people living in the Kutcha colonies, whereas the BJP never took care of these people and did not provide them with any facilities. But Congress will definitely get them their rights.
