Congress and AAP form alliance ahead of Mayoral election

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have formed an alliance ahead of the mayoral election. This was confirmed by former minister and former Chandigarh MP and senior Congress leader Pawan Bansal.

Congress leader Pawan Bansal says, “We (AAP and Congress) have decided that AAP will field its candidates for the post of Mayor in the Chandigarh Mayor elections and Congress will field its candidates for Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor posts…” said Congress leader Pawan Bansal on Chandigarh Mayor election.
