Chandigarh, December 4: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh met higher functionaries from JBIC, Asian Industry, Yamaha, Honda Motor, Director General of JICA South Asia Department, Toray Industries, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade & Industry (METI) and Fujitsu Ltd during his Japan visit.
During these meetings, he invited them to invest in Punjab, to which all the companies agreed. Interest and enthusiasm were shown. Investment in Punjab will create new employment opportunities for the youth and further strengthen the industrial sector. And the economic progress of the state will get a new impetus. During this, the Hon’ble Government also assured of full support from all aspects so that global investment can take place. And Punjab should become the biggest state in the world for development.
CM Bhagwant Singh Mann also met members of the Indian community. He also met the representatives, a large number of whom were natives of Punjab.
During this, he talked about the people-friendly works and reforms being done by the Punjab Government in the state. And invited everyone to come to Punjab.
Along with this, during the last 3 and a half years, there has been growth in employment, investment and development under the leadership of Mann Government. CM Mann said, “In view of the reforms, it becomes our responsibility to bring back the businessmen of Punjab and the entire country.”
