Chandigarh’s status as capital of Punjab should be restored, demands CM Mann

Chandigarh, September 26

During the Northen Zonal Council meeting, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann once against the issue to declaring Chandigarh as only the capital of Punjab.

“Chandigarh has been built by destroying the villages of Punjab. Chandigarh’s status as the capital of Punjab should be restored. This long pending demand of Punjab should be fulfilled,” he demanded.
