Chandigarh team wins bronze at 61st National Roller Skating Championship

Chandigarh, December 16

The Cadet Roller Hockey Team (Boys) (7-11 yrs) of Chandigarh has won the ‘Bronze Medal’ by defeating Jammu and Kashmir in the finals by 1-0 at the 61st National Roller Skating Championship.

The championship which is being organised by Roller Skating Federation of India is currently underway in Chandigarh and Chennai and shall be on till 25th Dec 2023.

The Chandigarh team displayed a stellar performance to reach the finals. It won league matches against J&K by 4-0, Maharashtra by 9-1, Karnataka by 5-0,Telangana by 10-2,Uttar Pradesh by 4-1. The team however lost to Punjab by 6 goals in the semi-finals.
