Chandigarh Floods: 18 Special Response teams constituted to tackle waterlogging woes, MC cancels all casual & station leaves

Chandigarh, July 9

In order to tackle emerging water logging issues, fallen trees removal, and breakdown in drinking water, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has constituted 18 Special Responses teams.

Anindita Mishra, MC Commissioner has also called casual and station leaves with immediate effect.

Emergency Control Rooms shall work 24×7. 18 Special Responses teams shall work 24×7. The Public Health officer in the team shall be the SPOC for the Control Room,” ordered Anindita Mishra.
