Chandigarh: All shops and commercial establishments to remain shut on June 1

Chandigarh, April 4

Chandigarh administration has fixed 1st June, 2024 (Saturday) as a Close day for all Shops and Commercial Establishments in connection with Lok Sabha polls.

This has been decided in the exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 (Punjab Act No. 15 of 1958) as applicable to the Union Territory, Chandigarh.
