CGC Landran celebrates 78th Independence Day with full fervor and enthusiasm

Paying remarkable tributes to the nation on the Day, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, celebrated the event with full patriotic zeal. The celebrations commenced with a smart march past by students of CGC’s NCC wing. They were inspected by the Campus Director of CGC Landran who was accompanied by Deans, Directors, students, and members of the faculty. The awe-inspiring flag-hoisting ceremony followed this.

Extending heartiest best wishes to the students and faculty on the auspicious occasion, Dr. P.N. Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran paid rich homage to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Calling upon the youth to contribute towards nation-building through their talents he also urged them never to forget the sacrifices made by gallant men and women in the service of the nation.

The event concluded with cultural presentations including folk dances, skits, poem recitations, and patriotic songs by CGC students that made the celebrations wholesome; infusing them with national unity and love for the motherland.
