16th Finance Commission team reaches Chandigarh, to meet Punjab officials

Chandigarh, July 22

Led by Former Deputy Chairman of Niti Ayog Arvind Pangaria, 16th Finance Commission team reached Chandigarh yesterday evening. Team was received by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema.

It will meet Punjab officials including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Finance Minister Harpal Cheema today. Punjab is likely to demand grant in view of inherited debt on the state.
