Chandigarh, January 5
Amid the ongoing cold spell and dense fog, the Chandigarh Education Department has changed the timings of schools and has decided to keep schools up to class 8 closed till January 11.
In this regard, only online classes will be held in schools. Schools have been asked to hold online classes only after 9 am and to call the school staff accordingly.
As per the order issued, classes in physical mode were suspended for classes up to eighth standard, however, online classes would be held from 9 am onwards.
For students in Classes 9 to 12, physical classes will start only after 9:30 am and conclude by 3:30 pm.
