Chandigarh: Old building collapses in Sector 17

Chandigarh, January 6

An old building in Sector 17 collapsed today morning. This building was built in 1970 and was lying vacant since long. Building was near Deputy Commissioner officer. Incident occured around 7.00 AM in the morning. No loss of life was reported as building was empty. A contractor was dismantling this building.
