Chandigarh, October 22
Centre government has convened a meeting with Rice Millers from Punjab on issue of ongoing Paddy season in the state. This was disclosed by Tarsem Saini President of Rice Millers Association Punjab.
He disclosed that Union Minister Prahlad Joshi and Union Minister of State Ravneet Bittu will meet Rice Millers to discuss issues being faced by them. He said that issue of lifting of old stocks and PR 126 variety of Paddy are prominent issued being faced in ongoing paddy season.
