The Cabinet Sub-Committee comprising Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Thursday held a detailed meeting with representatives from various unions. The meeting aimed to discuss and resolve the pressing issues faced by the employees.
The representatives from Powercom C.H.B Lineman Theka Mulazan Union, Sarb Sikhiya Abhiyan Mid Day Meal Daftri Mulazm Union, and Adarsh School Teaching Non-Teaching Mulazam Union presented their memorandums to the Cabinet Sub-committee, outlining their key demands and concerns. The unions highlighted various issues related to their working conditions, job security, and other essential aspects.
During the meetings, the Cabinet Sub-Committee engaged in an in-depth discussion on the demands put forth by the union representatives. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal assured the union representatives that most of their demands are already under consideration. They emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing legitimate demands promptly and effectively. The meetings concluded on a positive note, with the union representatives expressing their appreciation for the government’s proactive approach and willingness to engage in constructive dialogue.
During the meetings, the Powercom C.H.B Lineman Theka Mulazan Union was represented by State President Angrej Singh, General Secretary Rakesh Kumar, State Senior Vice President Pritpal Singh Buttar, and State Treasurer Ajay Kumar. The Sarb Sikhiya Abhiyan Mid-Day Meal Daftri Mulazam Union was represented by Kuldeep Singh, Rajinder Singh Sandha, Parveen Sharma, Ramesh Saharan, and Narinder Kumar. Meanwhile, the Adarsh School Teaching Non-Teaching Mulazam Union was represented by State President Jasvir Singh Galoti, General Secretary Sukhdeep Kaur Sran, Vice President Meenu Bala, and State Media Incharge Aman Shastri.
