Latest Rates (Per 10 Grams)

• 24 Karat (Pure Gold): In Punjab’s major cities like Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Chandigarh, 24K gold is hovering around ₹1,42,690.

• 22 Karat (For Jewelry): 22K gold used for making ornaments is trading at about ₹1,30,810 per 10 grams.

• 18 Karat: Gold used in diamond jewelry stands at roughly ₹1,07,060.

Key Points to Note

These rates exclude 3% GST and making charges. Adding all taxes and fees, customers are paying over ₹1,45,000 for 24K gold.

Why the Surge? International gold hit a historic $4,599 per ounce amid the US-Venezuela crisis and festival demand.

Silver Prices: Silver has also risen, reaching nearly ₹2,75,000 per kilogram.
