Philippines Emerges as a New Favorite for Indian Tourists: 14-Day Visa-Free Entry, Affordable Travel & Stay
Manila/New Delhi, October 2025 — For Indian travelers who have already explored Southeast Asian hotspots like Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore, the Philippines has now become the next big attraction — offering visa-free entry for up to 14 days, direct flights from Delhi, and budget-friendly travel options.
Until recently, one of the biggest challenges for Indian tourists visiting the Philippines was the lack of direct connectivity, making the trip nearly a full day’s journey. That obstacle is now gone.
Air India has launched its first non-stop flight from Delhi to Manila, cutting travel time to just six hours. The direct flight will operate five days a week — Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
In a major policy shift aimed at boosting tourism, the Philippine government has announced visa-free entry for Indian nationals for up to 14 days.
This means Indian tourists can skip the long and costly visa application process.
Requirements: Travelers must carry a passport valid for at least six months, a return flight ticket, and proof of hotel booking.
The Philippines has positioned itself as a cost-effective travel destination for Indians:
Round-trip flights between Delhi and Manila start at around ₹45,000.
Currency advantage: 1 Philippine Peso equals roughly ₹1.60, making local expenses significantly cheaper.
Low living costs: Accommodation, food, and intra-city travel are highly affordable compared to other Asian destinations.
From pristine beaches and majestic waterfalls to colonial-era history and warm hospitality, the Philippines offers a unique blend of nature and culture. The capital city Manila, along with islands like Cebu, Palawan, and Boracay, promises a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural exploration.
With visa-free access, shorter flight time, and budget comfort, the Philippines is now emerging as a top new travel choice for Indian tourists seeking a fresh yet affordable international escape.
