Chandigarh, December 5: The Hon’ble Chief Minister held a detailed aftercare meeting with the senior leadership of Yanmar today at the company’s global headquarters in Osaka, Japan. He encouraged the company to consider establishing a global Research & Development and innovation hub in Punjab, noting that the state’s strong agricultural and agri-mechanisation ecosystem aligns seamlessly with Yanmar’s core strengths and global vision. He underscored Punjab’s skilled technical workforce, robust industrial infrastructure, and highly supportive policy environment, all of which create conducive conditions for world-class manufacturing, innovation, and technology development. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Government of Punjab is committed to fostering an ecosystem where companies like Yanmar can grow, innovate, and lead transformative advancements in agri-tech and related sectors.

Yanmar’s senior management expressed appreciation for the warm support and proactive facilitation extended by the Punjab Government over the years.
