Burglars took away 70 lakh gold and silver from a jewellery shop in sarafan Bazar in early hours of this morning.
Police said five burglars came in a car and after hand cuffing security guard broke open locks of the jewelllery shop and took away safe containing 50 tolas of Gold and 20 kilo of silver and fled away in the car.
The incident occurred at 4 am in morning today.
City DSP Deep Karan Singh along with police party reached the spot and began investigation.
Jewellery shop owner Ajay Kumar confirmed the burglary of rupees 70 lakh.
